Canon Pixma MX372 Printer Driver Download - Like most inkjet MFPs today, the MX372 can serve inside a dual role for home and residential office, or perhaps like a strictly home printer. However, much such as the Editors' Choice Brother MFC-J430w ($100 street, 4 stars ), it is unusual to the price in focusing more upon the office side of the dual role.
Along with printing from and scanning to some PC, it may fax given by a PC and work like a standalone copier and fax machine. And in contrast typical home-oriented printers, it may scan multi-page documents and legal-size pages easily thanks to some 30-page automatic document feeder (ADF ) that supplements the letter-size flatbed. Missing coming from the MX372 are such photo-centric features as a chance to print from memory cards and PictBridge cameras.

Also missing is both Wi-Fi and wired network support, which causes it to be a challenge to share the printer easily, and largely limits it to personal use. Canon Pixma MX372 Review :
Setup and Speed
Establishing the MX372 is standard fare. For my tests, I installed it on the Vista system employing a USB connection—the only choice. The speed is best described as lackadaisical even to the price, although not an excessive amount slower than most of their competition.
Canon Pixma MX372 Office All-in-One
On our business applications suite I timed the MX372 (using QualityLogic's hardware and software for timing ) at an efficient 2. 0 pages per minute (ppm ). That’s essentially a tie using the HP Officejet 4500 All-in-One ($99. 99 direct, 3. 5 stars ) at 2. 1 ppm, but a little slower compared to the Editors' Choice Kodak ESP C310 All-in-One Printer ($99. 99 direct, 4 stars ) at 2. 7 ppm. It is also plenty slower compared to the Brother MFC-J430w $150. 00 at Amazon, at 4. 3 ppm, but remember that the Brother printer's fast speed for business applications is really a big section of why It‘s Editors' Choice.
Photo speed to the MX372 was more definitively slow, averaging 2 minutes 9 seconds for any 4 by 6. The Brother MFC-J430w wasn't much faster, at 1 : 59, but a lot of the competition leaves both printers inside the dust, using the HP Officejet 4500 clocking in at 1 : 15, for instance, and also the Kodak ESP C310 $319. 99 at Amazon taking just 44 seconds.
Output Quality and Other Issues
The MX372's overall output quality is below par, although not enough to become a problem. Text quality in particular is well below par, which means few fonts scoring well at sizes below 8 points. So long as you do not have an unusual need for smaller fonts, however, you shouldn't have any complaints.
Graphic output does better, at only slightly below par, but nonetheless good enough for just about any internal business need including PowerPoint handouts and also the like. However, it is a bit in need of what I'd want for output visiting a crucial client or customer who I had the need to impress having a sense of my professionalism.
Photos were par for the inkjet MFP overall, aside from an obvious tint in black and white output. Color photos were generally in the low end of what I'd expect from drugstore prints, producing the output acceptable for snapshots. If you would like your photos to seem their best, you will wish to look elsewhere, but that is pretty much expected given by a printer that claims to become office-centric.
One other issue which will make a difference plenty or perhaps a little, depending about how much you anticipate to print, is that the high claimed cost per page, at 6. 3 cents for any mono page and 13. 8 cents for any color page. That is 2. 5 cents more per page compared to the MFC-J430w for both mono and color. Offered the $20 difference in price involving the two, you simply need to print 800 pages before you‘ve got made in the difference. Beyond that, the entire cost to the MX372 could be above to the
Brother MFC-J430w, and also the difference would increase with every page you print.
For several people, the high running cost will certainly be enough reason to seem elsewhere, since it is a challenge to imagine anyone printing fewer than 800 pages during the life of the printer. But when you do not expect to print much greater than that, or do not mind the value, or the things you really require is some mixture of an ADF equipped scanner, fax machine, and a chance to fax files from the PC's hard drive, the Canon Pixma MX372 Office All-in-One can get the job done.
